City Administrator

 The City Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all municipal activities. The position serves under the direction and guidance of the City Council. The City Administrator coordinates all of the day-to-day affairs of City government. Under the direction of the City Council, the City Clerk/Treasurer falls under this responsibility and is responsible for coordinating budgetary planning and control, and for carrying out accounting, payroll and treasury duties. The City Clerk/Treasurer is also responsible for all record retention of all official City records and for coordinating elections with the County for the City. The City Admin/City Clerk/Treasurer acts as an official signatory for documents requiring such official action, office manager and human resource coordinator.

  • Overseeing the performance of all Departments
  • Implementing policies and ideas adopted by Council
  • Ensuring that all projects, operations, and functions within the local government & community operate efficiently
  • Collaborate with other staff to assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, or priorities.
  • Ensuring all Local, State, and Federal laws are followed
  • Plan and direct the maintenance, filing, safekeeping, and computerization of all municipal documents.
  • Perform budgeting duties, such as assisting in budget preparation, expenditure review, or budget administration.
  • Maintain fiscal records and accounts.
  • Responding to citizen concerns
