City Hall
What Hours is City Hall open?
City Hall is open from 7am-12pm/1pm-4pm Monday through Friday. We are closed on all Federal and state observed holidays.
Is City Hall The water office too?
Yes, you can sign up for water, sewer, and trash services at the City Office.
Can I pay my bill after hours?
Yes, you can make a payment online or drop off a payment at the City's drop box located inside the hallway of City Hall.

What is the fiscal year for the City of Lancaster?
The fiscal year is January 1 thru December 31.
Meeting Agendas & Minutes
When are City Council meetings?
The City Council meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month unless otherwise posted.
Can anyone attend an open council meeting?
Yes. The city follows the Minnesota Open Meeting Laws.
Payment Options
Why do I have a previous balance when I know I sent in my payment?
We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.

How do I identify underground lines before digging?
Contact Gopher State One Call at (651) 454-0002 two days before digging.
Water Utilities
How could I have used this much water?
You may not have, the numbers on your meter may have been transposed or hard to read. You could possibly have a leaky toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Just call the office and we'll work with you to solve the problem.
What do I do if I am experiencing low pressure?
Check your meter and the surrounding area for possible leaks. Next, call our office and report low pressure for your area.
Why is my water discolored?
A repair could have been completed recently allowing air to enter the line, causing the milky look.

Where do I go to vote?
The City of Jasper is a mail-in ballot precint. The central polling place where you can drop off your ballot, vote in person, or register on election day is held in the Pipestone County Courthouse and the Rock County Courthouse. Pease attend the correct County Courthouse based on the County that you live in. Contact City Hall if you have additional questions.
